Get ready for a Halloween adventure at the DVEC!
Our annual Pumpkin Hunt returns Saturday, October 31, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM. Search throughout the education center for hidden pumpkins and discover whether you’ve found a trick or a treat.
The Pumpkin Hunt continues while supplies last and until all pumpkins have been found, so don’t wait too long!
Some pumpkins will lead to treats like candy, toys, stickers, temporary tattoos, and special goodie bags, while others come with a fun challenge. You might be asked to solve a puzzle, answer trivia, try a tongue twister, show off your best robot impression, or complete another Halloween-themed trick. Complete your trick and you’ll get to choose a prize!
Be sure to bring your trick-or-treat bag, and stop by for face painting from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. All candy, prizes, goodie bags, face painting, and other event activities are available while supplies last.
Come for the candy, stay for the activities, and see what surprises are waiting inside the DVEC this Halloween!
