Mosquitoes & Containers:

Learn about mosquitoes that like standing water in containers such as birdbaths, buckets, or plants to lay their eggs. Mosquitoes such as these, include Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, which can spread diseases like Zika and Dengue.

Drain & Cover:

Prevent mosquitoes by draining standing water and covering exposed skin and entry points. Remove unused containers, clean birdbaths, and maintain swimming pools. Use repellents and ensure screens are intact to keep mosquitoes out.
